  • Among the top 10 export categories, vehicles saw the highest growth, increasing 162.2% in the seven years beginning in 2009.

  • Automotive components, cars, and motorcycles did well for India's worldwide sales in the vehicle sector.

  • Pharmaceuticals came in second for increasing export sales, gaining 160.3%.

  • Computers and other gear from India experienced the third-fastest increase in value, up 89.2%.

  • Electronics, which saw a value decline of -14.6% among the top 10 Indian export categories, was the only one.
